Solar Water Pumping

Denali Power Systems carries Lorentz and Grundfos solar submersible pumps and solar surface pumps. Lorentz and Grundfos Solar Pumps for locations beyond the reach of power lines, Solar Water Pumping offers a clean and reliable alternative to fuel-burning generators and windmills. Solar Water Pumps require no fuel and almost zero maintenance. Solar pumps are less expensive than windmills, are easier to install, and provide a more consistent supply of water. This is especially true in areas where wind may be seasonal and inconsistent. As many as 80% of our Western customers are replacing old high-maintenance windmills with reliable solar water pumping systems. A solar pump produces its highest volume of water when water is needed the most - when the weather is sunny and hot! Denali Power Systems specializes in providing and implementing the most efficient solar pump systems in the world.

Our solar pumps can operate directly from photovoltaic (solar) panels or from batteries that are charged by any combination of DC input sources. Most of the Lorentz solar pump models we provide can be ordered with optional AC power inputs for situations in which utility power, inverter power or generator power is available but efficiency is necessary. Denali Power’s goal is to provide you with the most efficient, durable and economical solar pump solution available for your application. The two types of solar pumps we provide are solar submersible pumps and solar surface pumps. PV direct pumping is the most efficient method of powering these pumps. However, in many situations where pumping is required 24/7. Denali Power Systems will combine Wind Power (Hybrid) systems for reliability and redundancy.

Lorentz Solar Pumps - U.S. Importer,
Denali Power Systems

The Lorentz and Grundfos SQ Flex pumps are the world's most economical water pumps, and they are used in deep well pumping, pressurized and non-pressurized irrigation, home water systems and livestock watering. There are no limits to how large solar pumps can be built. But, they tend to be most competitive in small installations where combustion engines are least economical.

Surface

Solar Powered Surface Pumps

Denali Power Systems is implementing surface pumping systems for livestock pipeline applications throughout the world. Range lands that normally hold water in dugouts and dams have been unusually dry. By using a surface pumping system you can utilize range lands far away from the originating water source.
Denali's longest surface pumping system in service is moving water over 9 miles from the original water source to
water tank.

The most economical DC water pumps are surface (non-submersible) pumps. They can reduce pumping energy consumption by half or more, compared to conventional AC powered pumps.
Surface pumps can pull the water up to 20 feet (suction capacity) and lift or push up to 900 feet. Denali's specialized Conery pumps have a wide range of application and can provide as little as 0.5 gallons per minute and up to 70 gallons per minute. Surface pumps are not weather resistant and must be protected from weather and freezing situations.
